In session 2 of A Study of Philippians, students will learn how the Bible study skill of observation helps us understand Scripture. It’s the first step of observe, interpret, and apply.
To practice observation, we outline the first chapter of Philippians to see Paul’s themes and structure.
To help them visualize an outline, you might want to show students these pictures of famous authors’ outlines. There are some crazy-looking, super-detailed ones!
